Architechtural table

I saw this image from the home of Tia Zoldan, which was featured in the new High Gloss online magazine, and fell in love with that little metal side table. When much to my surprise, Michelle over at Three Men and a Lady posted about her chic find. After calling every store in the entire state of Arizona and not having any luck getting one shipped to me, I lucked out and found one here locally. The last one in the state apparently. Plus, it was the floor model, so they gave me an additional 50% off the already 80% off clearance price! So lets get this straight, this table was originally $149 marked down to $29.99, then 50% off of that! Come on! Love it when I score a great deal!

Garden stool find...

Garden stools are everywhere these days, and in just about every design magazine you can find. Their uses are many, and is not limited to the outdoors. I love the idea of taking a piece and using it in a non-traditional way. Garden stools are a perfect example of this. Use them as a side table, or extra seating when you need it. I have loved this design trend, but wasn't willing to pay the 100 clams and up price to get it. Well, while I was out bargain shopping the other day, I laid my eyes on these two beauties. And did you see that price tag? Not too shabby, right? Now for the difficult task, deciding on a paint color.

Here are a some fabulous garden stool design ideas.

Jelly shoes all grown up...

I picked up a pair of these new ballet flats from the J Crew factory store recently. Is it wrong to say that you are in love with a shoe? Because I am.

I have a little thing for chairs

My house is filled with chairs-21 to be exact. That's not including the ones that are stashed in the garage for future projects -5 more to be exact, which are next to my vintage frame collection (but we'll save that discussion for another post) . I love the idea of mixing vintage and more contemporary pieces together, and I can't think of a more stylish and relaxing way to rest your rump.

I think this boys room is divine.  The daybed is sophisticated, and the orange chair is playful and modern.

This room by Vanessa De Vargas is colorful and inviting.

This room designed by Ashley Putnam is perhaps one of my all time favorites.  It's full of texture, and classic touches.

I literally drooled when I saw this room with the blue lacquer campaign dresser and leather mirror.

Love the mix of color and pattern with the Dwell Studio dot storage basket, and the large wall map.
