Memorial day dessert

This red, white, and blue dessert is hands down one of the most delicious things you will ever taste!  Plus, it's super easy to throw together for the memorial weekend celebrations.  Hope you all have a wonderful memorial holiday!  Enjoy!

POUND CAKE WITH SUMMER BERRIES AND LEMON CREAM:

4 Lemons, juiced and zested

1QT whipping cream

1 Cup sugar

4 TBSP sweetened condensed milk 

 Add sugar to cream mixture, and whip into soft peaks.  Add remaining ingredients and whip until done.  Serve over angel food or pound cake and fresh berries.

Schumacher here?  Well, interior designer Melanie Turner used this incredible line in the beautiful 2013 Atlanta Decorator's Showhouse.  The results in this master bedroom are soft, serene, and nothing short of stunning.
